And for this cause shall many secular use the opportunity of this Christian indifference to legitimize as much sin as possible. The reason that the Lord shall spit out all those who are indifferent is because they no longer belong to Him, because there is no mixing righteousness with sin in Christ; but this will be the sign of the time, that many churches shall modify righteousness to accommodate sin, right in the very bosom of the church.|||As the world is filled with mass confusion and false doctrines that came out of so many man made religions. The best thing to do is to cross examine every doctrine that comes across your way. Match up everything to the Most High word, to make sure it does not contradict the Bible. It also helps to know documented history aswell based on the Nation of Israel, considering that the Bible is also a Historical and a prophetic book.

I suggest to learn the Old testament first (especially the Torah) the first five books of the Bible which is the foundation of the Bible as a whole. Once you have a complete understanding of the old testament, you will for sure have a complete understanding of the New testament, considering that Jesus (Yashua) his disciples and the rest of the apostles read and learned from the old testament.

1 Thessalonians 5:21

Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

2 Timothy 3:16

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Isaiah 28:10

For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:|||People become lukewarm because of the same routine every week - Sunday Church. Other because the prayers are not answered or perhaps they feel that God doesn't care anymore. Every week having the same function seems to be a drag.

Hot Christian are those who really belief in their faith with Jesus Christ. No matter how dull, they have wow to go on.|||Study the Bible. Open the book to Corinthians 2 and start reading (that's my favorite book!). Live your life for him, don't just say you are! Thank God for what you have and what he's given you, and pray for those less fortunate. Ask when you need help, and trust him with your life. Amen.|||The best way to become "hot" is to get deeply involved in God's Word, apply it to your life and tell others about it as well.

Then, make sure you live what you read. Take a good look at Matthew 25:31-46. This is a good example of how to live for Jesus and how not to live for Jesus.|||It's something that comes from your soul. You want to hunger for God. You need to get into his word and study him. Then you'll be transformed into a servant of the Lord that is on fire for Jesus and who can minister to others about his love and acceptance. Unless you have that "spark" it would be hard to evangelize.|||Read the Gospels straight thru several times in a row paying attention only to the Words of Jesus. Try to understand it all yourself, without the interference of a priest or a study guide. Gather what you don't understand and re-read the last part of Jesus' word in John, where He says ' a comforter will come to you', and when the Holy Spirit comforts you and clarifies your understanding, WRITE it down!!!

Get done w that %26amp; get back to me.|||pray and stay in the word of God. The more you seek him the more you will find him. The more you find him the more you will love him.|||The Bible says, "But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ" (2nd Peter 3:18 ). We are commanded to grow in our walk with Christ. And there's no time like the present to do so. God has never commanded us to do anything that we cannot do; so the fact that we are commanded to grow in our relationship with God should excite us. But just how do we grow in our walk with the Lord? How do you develop and strengthen any relationship? You do so by spending time with that person; by walking with them; by talking to them; by listening to them. The more time you spend with someone, the more that person will influence your thoughts, words, attitudes, and actions; and the closer the two of you will become. In fact, it's impossible to spend quality time with someone, and then not start to resemble them in some way. The same holds true for your relationship with God. If we want to grow closer to God, we have got to spend time with Him. We've got to talk to God through prayer; and listen to Him to talk to us through His Word. This is, of course, in addition to regular church attendance and sharing of our faith. But, like any relationship, the most important ingredient to your relationship with Christ is communication. After all, we can't trust God if we don't know what He says. We can't trust God if we aren't bringing our requests before Him, seeking His wisdom, etc,; we can't obey God if we don't know what He commands. Most of all, we can't enjoy--to the fullest extent--His love for us if we aren't reading His love letter that He wrote to us---the Bible. The Bible says that God is Light (see 1st John 1:5). When you're spending time in the Word and prayer daily, you're spending time in the Light. I have found that the more time I spend in the Light, the more noticeable the darkness is in my own life; and the more time I spend with the Light of the world, the less time I want to spend in the darkness. The more time I spend fellowshipping with God, the less the Christian life is a bunch of do's and don鈥檛s and can's and cant鈥檚; and the more the Christian life takes on a matter of LOVE and DESIRE. As I'm walking close with Jesus, I WANT to do such and such. As I walk close with Jesus, I don't DESIRE to do this or that. Instead, I DESIRE to please Him, because I LOVE Him, and He LOVES me! Isn't that how we're to view our Christian life, as a relationship, and not as a religion? In religion, you do what you do out of a sense of obligation. As a Christian, even though God is worthy of being obeyed simply because He is God, we should do what we do out of love and desire. If that's our motivation, then a walk with Christ will produce peace and joy indescribable. If you are not currently having a daily devotion, I urge you to do so. A daily devotion is simply setting aside a certain amount of time, usually in a certain place, to spend quality time reading a portion of Scripture, and talking with your Lord and Father. Some people get hung up on insisting you have your devotion first thing in the morning. I'm not as concerned about when or where in the day we have our devotion as I am THAT we have our daily devotion. Now I will say that I love starting off my day by going to Starbucks, and having about a 30-40 minute devotion over a mocha--or two LOL! It just seems to start my day off on the right foot, and get my spirit in tune with the Spirit. We would never even think of going a day without physical food. So why should we be any different when it comes to feeding our spirits? Jesus said, "'Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God" (Matthew 4:4) If you aren't already doing so, make God's Word a part of your daily "diet." You may already be very familiar with the Bible. If you are, I don't need to tell you what to read. If you are not already familiar with the Bible, the Gospel of John is an excellent place to start. Of all the books in the New Testament, the Gospel of John bes|||This is proof that Faith alon wont get you salvation. Because how does your faith get hotter? Or even become lukewarm? Its works people that has its ups and downs. Faith is too easy.|||Prayer, penance, charitableness. and humility, my friend.|||I can only relate if I say it is as a child growing to an state of adult, so you start and grow in it|||Total submission! (Let go and let God!) It IS hard but the 'End' thereof is Awesome!! ALL of us as Believers need to "Step-up" and "Bite the Bullet" and 'Roll with the Punches' just a bit harder!|||Study His Word and make the long 18 inch trip from your head to your heart and start to serve Him by serving others.|||Set yourself on fire.|||Exercise and dieting.|||First define what you mean by "hot Christian" and then aim to be that.
