My Christian brethen,where do you get that the ability to pray has been taken out of schools?

The moment of silence is specifically designed for religious devouts to pray to the God of their choosing,should they choose to believe in one.





Now it's true that the class isn't led in Christian prayer like in the old days.But that's because a lot of the children now in school are Jewish,Atheist,Muslim,Buddhist or of some other belief system.





We may definitely disagree with their beliefs;but we can't force children of another religion to partake in group Christian prayer.Like it or not America has become a very religiously diverse nation.|||Their goal is a christian theocracy. They do not care about freedom, equality, law or the constitution.





Not all christians are like this, but enough of them are that it is a dangerous problem.|||REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of Pan Am Flight 103!

REMEMBER all the AMERICAN lives that were lost in those vicious MUSLIM attacks!|||Liberals are the ones who believe in taking prayer away. I'm sorry to break the truth to you guys, but this country was founded upon Christian beliefs.|||How many Christian churches are there in Mecca or Saudi Arabia?|||it is because we have become liberal in schools which never used to be the case in those days|||" My Christian brethen,where do you get that the ability to pray has been taken out of schools? Well I got my first clue when the Valedictorian was not allowed to thank God..... not a specific God.... just a generic God.....during his graduation speech.....threatened with NOT being allowed to participate in graduation ceremonies..... OR..... the child that was expelled for quietly bowing his head and saying Grace before eating his lunch..... or the policy in many schools to teach other religions.....have other religious speakers but NOT Christian





OR..... the fact that Native American religious symbols and structures on public land are "protected" but a 300 year old cross on public land must be torn down





Most religious observations that have been ban in schools are generic.... not specifically Christian.... they vaguely refer to "God"..... it could be a Muslim God.....it could be a Buddhist God..... it could be a Shinto God.....





The founding father who wrote the paper on "separation of Church and State".....also hired the first Priest to bless the opening of Congress.... obviously he had no problem with the mixing of religion and government but was referring to the mandating of only one national religion.....such as they had in England.....





The Constitution guarantees everyones RIGHT ..... including children in school...... to practice their religion without restraint.... but Christians specifically are forbidden while other religions are given demonstrably greater freedom especially in schools





Most children have no real religious belief.....no moral compass.... a generic religion complete with a code of conduct.... is much needed in our schools.... and would not violate the spirit of separation of church and state....





Your rationalization is not logical...... or historically accurate.... I grew up "under God" in schools before the moral rape of our nation..... and it still took me years to select a religion.....was even "officially" an agnostic for awhile..... exposure to a religion....even a specific religion.... does not damage a child's Psyche .... in fact it provides a moral structure NEEDED in our schools
