Christian?

Im a Christian and lately ive been cussing like...hek to put it nicely. any Bible verses to help? im depressed-

13 girl|||i think i know one

James 3:9-12

9With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in God's likeness. 10Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers, this should not be. 11Can both fresh water and salt water flow from the same spring? 12My brothers, can a fig tree bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Neither can a salt spring produce fresh water.

your mouth is made for praising the lord. you shouldn't use that same mouth and mix it with cursing and praising.|||Look up Ephesians 4:29

Watch the way you talk. Let nothing foul or dirty come out of your mouth. Say only what helps, each word a gift. (MSG)

I hope you will Bless and be blessed

good luck.... angel|||"Cussing", as you put it, is hardly sinful...Vulgarity is a better term than "cussing" and, if you please, lets stick with that word. A "curse" is sinful (i.e. taking the Lord's name in vain): for example, "God damn that man to hell!" Vulgarity, which comes from the Latin word for "of the common classes of people," is something entirely different than "cussing." Vulgarity, and its inappropriateness, rests more in the offense given to the social sensibilities when people indulge aggressive and/or hostile language. For example: "Go f**k yourself." While uncouth and evidencing an embracing of working class, or better yet, "common" culture (which, in people with pretensions of upward social mobility, can be a grave "sin" indeed), using naughty words hardly divorces you from the grace of God (which is the literal definition of sin, in a Christian context). If you are depressed, I would suggest you take up a martial art and turn your depression inward, galvanizing it into rage and then expressing that rage in a closed, controlled environment, surrounded by trained professionals. I would strongly recommend either boxing, Muay Thai-style kickboxing and/or Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.|||There's NOTHING wrong with cussing. Don't let people tell you otherwise. Moreover, don't look to some fictive faith to solve your problems. Christians, Jews, Muslims, Sikhs, etc. are not rite in the head. Just say F it and go about using whatever colorful obscenity you like. Additionally curse words are a valid form of communication. When words become unacceptable, essentially, ideas can become unacceptable. And that goes against fr re-speech. Using the F-word is a patriotic exclamation of a love for freedom. Remember, the terrorist hate us because we're free. Don't play into their hands, by allowing your oral expression to be limited by Jesus-freaks.

P.S. Fukc ya!
