The military has essentially turned into a Christian organization. I am in a position to know this. Everything from Christian indoctrination in boot camp, forced prayer meetings and bible studies (upper chain of command) to advancement discrimination based upon religion. They ask what your religious preference is when you enlist, if your dog tags say None, they assume you're an atheist. There is heavy discrimination against all non christians, not just atheists.
Do Christians support this?|||There are several lawsuits in the works to push back on this trend, and there have been many successes in doing this.
If you wish to help, the Freedom from Religion Foundation does a lot of good work in this area. There are also groups, such as the Military Religious Freedom Foundation that pushes back on religious encrouchment in the military.|||Hea butt head,I'm a vet and also a christian but nothing was ever forced on me in the military or at home.You even know what the word preference means?The only position you know is how to downgrade GOD.Discrimination stops in any military war and discrimination against GOD ends hope for all.Stupid idea.|||You don't know what you are talking about.
