I am a Christian! And I have been hearing about what people saying about Christian. I dont get it, is it a bad Religious?

religion is a personal thing, no one needs to know if you believe in God, and no its not BAD, its wonderful.
if anyone says that being a christian is a bad thing, stand up for what you believe in.
i think its awesome that your proud that your christian and you wanna know why everyone is so hateful against people who believe in God.
you've got nothing to lose in believeing and everything to lose if you don't.

|||Following Christ is great! There is nothing wrong with it at all.
The reason christians are so have such a bad reputation is because most Christians aren't really following Christ at all. The bible says that true christians will be known by the way that they love. (John13:34-35) Most of todays christians spend more time hating than loving.
Examples:
-Telling homosexuals that God hates them.
-Standing outside abortion clinics and yelling at patients
-Passing judgment on non-believers
These aren't behaviors of true followers of Christ. Jesus wouldn't have done any of these things. We have set poor examples of Jesus and because of that most people don't like us.|||Following Jesus is the only way to salvation and eternal life in heaven with our Father, so Christianity is the only true choice.
Of course there are some "Christians" who are hateful, most famously is Fred Phelps. They give Christians a bad name, but I believe most people who follow Jesus are very good by nature and sincerely try to obey His teachings.
Some people bash Christianity either because they don't understand it, or because they don't like all the "rules". But Jesus warned us that we would be mocked and hated, as He was first. So rest assured that God is always with us.|||jesus came to die for us all. so that we could live. would anyone else do that for you. being a christian is not a bad religion. knowing that jesus is your savior is the only way to his kingdom when he comes back for us god bless you and keep praying. dont listen or care what others think|||Don't worry!! You are a Christian and don't let any one else change you. That is just how people are it is the world that we live in people have to talk bad about something and Christianity is a lot of times what they will say....|||Most Christians are good, decent people who serve and worship our Lord, but there are some who jump on the bandwagon to excuse their bigotry and hatred, and seek to use it to further their political agendas.|||it does not matter what people think you are fine and no christian is not a bad religion if Jesus Christ is you savior and God you cannot go wrong.
