How can you live as a Christian knowing there are so many other religions and ideas of an afterlife?

When you die, the chance of a Christian afterlife existing is probably less than 1%. I'm reading up on the Muslim, Jewish and Hindu ideas of the afterlife, and all of them differ wildly. How can you even tabulate which one has the most likelihood of being true? You can't. None of them are true鈥攖hey're myths. Hence the term, Christian mythology.





Why do you continue to believe, Xians?|||The year you use. The first book off a printing press. The most popular book in the history of mankind. And you place that at 1%? What kind of crazy math are you using?|||I for one do not base my belief in Christ because of his assurance of an afterlife. I believe in him, i.e. have a relationship with him, because he continues to show himself, spiritually, mentally, emotionally, materially, and socially as a trustworthy God.





Yes other religions have pictures of the afterlife. I believe that is at least a pretty good sign there is one. Great myths have a way of telling us about reality...





Even if the afterlife doesn't exist I believe in the reality of Jesus right now, his community, his ethic, his work. I can see pictures of God's goodness in all of creation and happen to believe that this God is the Triune (three-in-one) God of the Bible, because the scripture continues to be a source of truth and beauty to me.|||I was at work, at noon the middle of the day, walking the middle of an isle, in a large factory, where


I worked as an Master Electrician. When the heavens opened as a curtain, and I seen Jesus Christ, seated as six others gathered around Him, dressed in white gowns, the GLORY OF GOD ALL AROUND


THEM, ( are you paying attention, non- believers), and they smiled and the heavens closed again.


God says you draw neigh unto Him, like your heart is telling you to repent, stop twisting the Truth, for


God is Truth and then He will draw neigh unto you. (Get it ) because words of kindness to those that


confess their sins and change their lives for His Righteousness. Jesus Christ says, " His burden is light."|||We know Christianity to be true because all the people that have died momentarily have come back and told us of a heaven or a hell and seeing Jesus Christ.|||Don't frustrate yourself over idiots! They are dumb you are not get used to it!|||The scriptures tell us these things, so that it is of no amazement.
