Must a Christian in a science field focus solely on methodological and metaphysical naturalism to succeed?

Yes/no? Why or why not?

Should a Bible-believing Christian in the sciences consider naturalism "the enemy"?

.|||The scope of scientific knowledge is constantly expanding.

All great scientists have been able to think outside of the box.

A lot of modern physics involves postulating the existence of

forces and particles that haven't actually been observed yet.

Logic only provides reliable solutions when all the facts are

known... when you're exploring new territory, you need an

open mind.

I believe the existence of deity and the metaphysical

dimension of the universe are simply things waiting to be

scientifically proven. Until then, our personal experiences

may confirm it to ourselves, but not to the general public.

Religion is not incompatible with science... although some

are a little more implausible than others !|||Bible believing scientists aren't scientists. You might think this is a no true scotsman fallacy, but the fact is that a scientist is a person that rigorously follows the scientific method. A person that thinks there is a difference between spiritual belief and secular belief isn't rigorously applying that method.|||No he or she should focus on science.
