I think it is very important that the wife is Christian and practising , adherent to scripture .|||I'm Jewish and my wife and I were married 15 or so years before she converted to Judaism. Her being a Christian and my being a jew was never a point of contention for us. The kids we raised were mine from another marriage, but we still exposed them to both faiths.
Both became Jews. She converted finally on her own, came to me and went to the rabbi.
But we never had problems before and neither of us tried to convert the other|||I suppose it would be if all you do is sit around and discuss scripture,or watch the 700 Club. Under any other circumstance, it is not important at all.
Thankfully, not a Christian!|||Absolutely essential. If God is going to be the binding force of your relationship, starting out with opposing beliefs about God is a major handicap.|||Yeah. You wouldn't want her talking back or thinking for herself. It's very important that she has been raised in the cult to be subservient.
Corinthians guy you can back me up on this, right?|||Husband and wife should be the same religion. The kids will get whatever culture you pass on to them.|||I'll go where God takes me. He handles the details.|||King James Version Bible
